Molly the Pit Bull
Representing Abandoned “Monsters” advocating for responsible pet ownership
Molly is an adopted Pit Bull on a mission to spread awareness and education.
My name is Molly and I’m 2 years old. I was adopted from a high kill pound in Southern WV. I was given an extension on my stay there because I was such a good girl, but the dog warden knew I couldn’t stay there forever. My picture was shared all over Facebook, but nobody wanted to take on a Pit Bull that was supposed to be aggressive towards cats. Thankfully, I was given a chance and found myself in the home of my dreams.
I’ve been with my Mom for a little over a year, and I haven’t done a single thing wrong. I’m best friends with the Chihuahuas and all the cats. (Even the grouchy ones.)
I’m using my story of betrayal from my former owners to spread the word that rescue dogs are good dogs, and that Pit Bulls are normal dogs too! I may have some scars, but I’ve healed physically and emotionally, and I’m ready to take on the world!
