Kandie the Therapy Pittie

Kandie is a Therapy Dog with Pet Partners and Therapy Animals of Utah – TAU, and a proud American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold!
Kandie was born in July 2009. She was adopted from the Salt Lake County Animal Services in November of 2009. She was one of the first few Pit Bulls to be adopted through their Pit Crew program.
Kandie has earned her CGC certification. And then passed her evaluation to become a Therapy Dog. She has also earned her Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees with C.L.A.S.S (Canine Life and Social Skills). She is currently working towards getting her PhD.
Kandie wuffs her papa, her mama, her 2 sisters – Kismet & Kylie and her little bro – Kanab.
She also holds a special place in her heart for all the Boys at the Youth Detention Center that she visits weekly and those that have helped her thoughout her life. Zoomies and walks to anywhere are at the top of the list of her favorite things to do! But meeting new people and going on her therapy visits take the cake!
