Kaida & Kabuki

Representing Rescued Therapy “Monsters” being ambassadors for misunderstood pit bull type dogs

Kaida and Kabuki two sisters from another mister, spreading love and awareness, dispelling the myths surrounding pit bull type dogs.

Kaida was rescued from a rural rescue group in Culpepper, VA. Shortly after her rescue, was certified and began working as a therapy dog in the DC and Baltimore areas working to educate children about empathy towards animals. Also working with her mommy’s rescue group Ambassador Pit Bull Alliance going to events and being a Rockstar breed ambassador.

Kabuki was abandoned at 8 weeks and ended up at Ambassador Pit Bull Alliance. A short foster, ending in a fail, made Kabuki part of this family, where she was CGC certified as well, and joins mommy and sister in all their volunteering and advocacy endeavors.

You can find Kaida & Kabuki peddling free kisses and loving at events all over the DC area as well as classrooms in Baltimore, to show anyone who is willing to learn that pit bull type dogs are just like any other pet.

This year, they are on a mission to provide blankets for the pit bulls in the restricted shelter at Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility in Prince George’s County, MD (a Breed-Specific Legislation jurisdiction). Despite BSL, the rescue coordinators there work tirelessly to help the pit bulls get out of the shelter and into rescues to give these dogs a chance at life. They will also work with local homeless outreach group, providing much needed supplies to homeless pet owners.
