Representing Abused “Monsters” bringing love & changing minds through therapy work
Aladdin went from a shelter dog to a loving family member, therapy dog, Soft Side Model and spokes dog for Lilo’s Promise
I was found on the streets in April 2013 severely emaciated. Both of my back legs had been broken and my tail. I was missing twelve teeth & had numerous open wounds on my body. Mom took me in and my life changed.
I had a long road ahead of me with my recovery, lucky for me I had great doctors and a lot of love. But despite everything I went through I always had a wagging tail for everyone. I was always greeted everyone with love so Mom decided that I would be a great therapy dog.
One year later and I am now a very loved family member with three fur brothers and three human brothers. I am a certified therapy dog and I go into schools, nursing home & Ronald McDonald House. I just started doing a reading program at Barnes & Noble with kids. I am the spokes dog for Lilo’s Promise Animal Rescue and a model for the nationwide animal abuse campaign, Show Your Soft Side.
